What is a Spark Box?


The Spark Box is committed to helping mamas and mamas-to-be nurture a healthy learning environment at home for their little one. We provide carefully curated collections of products, resources, and tools for both mama and mini. Every Spark Box is complete with 4 high-quality, full sized age appropriate toys and tools for your child, and research-backed resources to foster a healthy learning environment. Because a healthy home learning environment stems from caregivers, each Spark Box also includes 4 full-sized health, wellness and functionality items to support the overall wellbeing of mamas.​




I want to purchase as a gift, will I have to sign up for a subscription?


Nope! We offer all our boxes as a gift box option as well as a subscription.




Where is my order?


The Spark Box ships quarterly in the months of May, August, November and February. We will send you an email with all the necessary details as soon as the order leaves our hands. You can also review your order information by logging into your plan management portal, which can be accessed through the sign-in button on our home page.




Do you take refunds or exchanges?


Due to the nature of the box, purchases are final sale and non-refundable. We do not accept returns or exchanges of boxes, box items, add-ons or additional box purchases. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund. Any Spark Boxes that arrive damaged, defective, or wrong/incorrect item(s) must be reported within two (2) weeks of your delivery date and we can work together to make things right. Please contact hello@thesparkbox.ca to report a problem.

My baby is between ages — which box should I get?


On our 'Get Started' page on the web, you will be able to enter your child's birth date, and we will suggest your perfect box! If you're still unsure, just open the chat and send us a message — we'll help you out.




Do you ship outside of Canada?


We currently ship to all Canadian provinces and territories. We hope to provide International shipping in the near future. Our nationwide shipping is free!




Can my subscription be cancelled?


We would hate to say goodbye, but you can cancel your subscription plan anytime. Simply login to your payment portal by clicking the sign-in button on our website and cancel your subscription. Please cancel BEFORE the 1st of the month of the last month in your subscription plan. For example, if you signed up for a semi-annual plan in May, the last month in your plan would be November. You would need to cancel by the 1st of October. You will still receive any boxes that you have already paid for, but your subscription will not be renewed when it expires. If you experience any difficulties with this process or if you have any further questions, please send us an email at hello@thesparkbox.ca so we can help you out!




Will I be charged tax?


Provincial sales taxes are included in the box price. You will, however, be charged GST (5%) upon checking out.




How do I change my address on my subscription?

When will you charge my credit card?


If you have signed up for a quarterly subscription plan, your credit card will be charged your full plan amount four times per year for as long as your maintain your subscription with us. The first payment will come out when your first box ships. All subsequent payments will be charged in three month intervals. If you have signed up for a semi-annual subscription plan, your credit card will only be charged your full plan amount twice per year for as long as your maintain your subscription with us. The first payment will come out when your first box ships. All subsequent payments will be charged in six month intervals. Please note: the above information may not apply during promotional periods. Will you let me know when my box is shipping?


Yes, we will send you a notification every quarter when your Spark Box ships so that you know when to expect it.




When will I get my first box?


Our quarterly cutoff date is the 1st of the month of the shipping month (i.e., May 1st for the May box, August 1st for the August box, November 1st for the November box and February 1st for the February box. If you have signed up before our quarterly cutoff date, you're guaranteed to receive that quarterly Spark Box.

In the shipment month, we begin sending out Spark Boxes mid-month and they will arrive before the end of the month (dates vary depending on your location).
